Thank you for your interest in joining our team. Food For Free is a Somerville-based nonprofit dedicated to providing Eastern Massachusetts with reliable access to healthy food. Through a combination of logistics operations and innovative programming, we deliver donated and purchased food to reduce food waste, strengthen the community food system, and create new distribution channels to reach underserved populations. We envision a future where everyone in our community—regardless of age, income or background—has consistent access to fresh, healthy, delicious food.

Food For Free is a flexible, innovative organization. We have an open, informal culture and believe deeply in transparency and integrity. Collaboration is at the heart of all that we do and it comes from a deep respect for one another, our community, and the people we serve.
