COVID-19 Relief Delivery Program

Weekly food delivery for Cambridge residents at high risk of hunger during COVID-19

**THIS PROGRAM IS CLOSED AND NOW ROLLED INTO OUR HOME DELIVERY PROGRAM. PLEASE VISIT OUR HOME DELIVERY PAGE FOR INFORMATION ON APPLYING FOR HOME DELIVERY.**

Food For Free and the City of Cambridge worked together to create a food delivery program for Cambridge residents at high risk of food insecurity during the onset of the COVID-19 crisis. The program delivered a weekly bag of produce and shelf stable food items to eligible individuals and families.

Starting the week of June 29th, we merged the COVID Relief Grocery Delivery Program into our long established Home Delivery program when additional support services for Cambridge residents reopened and also when our enormous volunteer force will dwindled due to a reopened economy and workforce.

Our COVID program made 19,500 deliveries to 2,284 unique households from March 17th-June 19th, 2020. 810 volunteers completed 3,100 volunteer shifts during this time packing and delivering groceries.

This program was one of our largest programs to date and we could not have done it without the support of our community. Thank you to our volunteers, donors, and community partners. We are beyond grateful for your help!
