JESSICA CANTIN

CEO

Jessica Cantin joined Food For Free as CEO in 2023. Previously, she served as CEO of YWCA New Hampshire and has worked in the nonprofit sector for more than 27 years.

Jessica is passionate about ensuring that individuals and families experiencing food insecurity have access to healthy, fresh food with dignity and choice. Her work is deeply rooted in community impact and building partnerships that strengthen local food systems and support long-term wellbeing.

In addition to her leadership at Food For Free, Jessica serves on the board of the Cambridge Nonprofit Coalition and on the advisory council for the Somerville Community Action Network.

Jessica lives in Manchester, New Hampshire, and outside of her leadership work, she enjoys teaching. She has taught in higher education for more than a decade at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. When not working, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, her goldendoodle, Charlie, and her granddog, Major.
