Why do you volunteer with Food For Free?
When I was 18, I was homeless and eating at soup kitchens. The people preparing meals for me were so kind. Sharing food with a person who’s having a rough time in life is letting them know that you care about them through that meal. It helped me survive. Later I was able to go to school and turn my life around.

What do you enjoy about volunteering?
I do it to repay the kindness I was given when I was younger.

Any other fun details?
I’m really into vinyasa yoga.
